Description

This distinctive and elegant Planter panama, in a Cuenca weave has a round flat crown and wide brim, for added protection from the sun. It is more commonly known for being worn by sugar cane plantation workers and river boat gamblers on the Mississippi river.  Also available in Ivory/black band and in a Vanilla/Choc in the Cuenca 3/5 weave.  Brim approx 8cm / 3¼in,  Crown height approx 10cm / 4 in  Please note this hat is not foldable. Need help with sizing?  Please see our video below.   This is a Genuine Panama Hat Handwoven in Ecuador and finished to the highest standard in England

    I had bought a classic Panama for my husband’s birthday a few years ago from Panama Hats and he has lived in it every summer. When he started eyeing a wider brim I knew where to look first! We chose a custom ribbon (Mavi sent a picture with ribbon installed for approval before posting) and he couldn’t be happier! Beautiful quality and great customer service as always.
